The Senate President Bukola Saraki has replied the National Leader of All progressives Congress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Saraki revealed that Tinubu has been made politically irrelevant by the Buhari government.
Tinubu was on Sunday disclosed to the public why Saraki and Tambuwal left the All Progressives Congress. He listed some of the reasons why they left the ruling All Progressives Congress.
One of the reasons Tinubu gave is that APC refused to grant their wishes of automatic tickets for next year’s elections. Others are:
- APC refused to share “national wealth and other offices and privileges.”
- For Tambuwal, Tinubu said he covets the Presidency. However, he had not the stomach to challenge President Buhari in a primary.
- For Saraki, he cannot come back as Senate President under APC.
Reacting to the Tinubu’s allegation, Saraki through his special assistant on new media, Olu Onemola said that Tinubu’s statement was a deliberate example of conscientious ignorance on full display. Buhari government has already made him politically irrelevant.
He said Saraki had already given Nigerians reasons he dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress to the People Democratic Party. The reasons Saraki he left the APC is in the public domain.
According to him, Nigerians should disregard the statement coming from the Mr Tinubu because he has become political irrelevant.
