All the governors from the South-West was absent from the meeting.
Some governors that attended the consultive meeting included the Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong; Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu; Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai; and Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, Adamawa State governor, Jibrila Bindow; his counterpart in Bauchi State, Abubakar Mohammed, and that of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.
