His journey to the political career, He was a founding member of Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the state of Osun and has been a chieftain of the party through its metamorphosis to Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and now All Progressives Congress (APC). Also, he has assisted the party nationally, particularly in the State of Osun. He was appointed as a Chief of Staff in 2011.

2. PDP candidate Senator Ademola Adeleke

The People Democratic Party candidate Ademola Adeleke is another favourite candidate to win Osun Governorship election on Saturday. The Adeleke family is on the ground in Osun. Ademola can use the influence to emerge victorious on Saturday. He has done it before. Ademola Adeleke defected the candidate of APC Akin Ogunbiyi to win the Senatorial seat. If APC doesn’t win then Adeleke will claim the victory.

Who is Ademola Adeleke?

Ademola Adeleke is a servicing Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Adeleke was born on May 13th, 1960 in Enugu. His father was Late Senator Raji Ayoola Adeleke the Balogun of Ede land in Osun State a politician.

Adeleke went to Methodist Primary School, Surulere Lagos and Nawarudeen Primary School, Ikire. He proceeded to The Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School, Ede and later moved to Muslim Grammar School Ede. However, he did not finish his education at Muslim Grammar School as he left Nigeria to study abroad with his two other brothers on a scholarship.  He started higher studies at Jacksonville State University Alabama in the United State of America where he was majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Political Science.

Ademola Adeleke is a businessman and administrator, he was the Group Executive Director at his brother’s company, Pacific Holdings Limited from 2001-2016.

He was elected to the Senate to represent Osun East constituency in April 2003 running on the platform of the PDP and served till the expiration of his term in 2007. He was reelected in 2007 and appointed to committees for Police Affairs, Housing, Culture & Tourism, Aviation and Appropriation.

In May 2008, he was named a member of the National Assembly Joint Committee on Constitution Review (JCCR). In October 2008, Omisore was one of the Nigerian delegates to the 5th Consultative Assembly of Parliamentarians in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
