What The Oba Of Lagos Told Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour That Is Causing Reactions

The gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour paid a visit to the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu on Tuesday in the company of his father and other Labour Party chieftains.
According to a recent report by Sahara reporters, the Oba of Lagos during the visit told the Labour Party candidate that his future is bright but it bit yet his time. He said the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu would win the election.
The Lagos monarch further praised the Labour Party candidate for having the courage to come out and contest but that his support is for the governorship candidate of the APC, Sanwo-Olu. He also described Rhodes-Vivour as a true Lagosian and further prayed for him to succeed in his future endeavours. He also praised the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, adding that he became governor of Lagos state at a very difficult time.
Oba’s statement has generated a lot of mixed reactions on social media as some people believe the Oba is the father of everyone and shouldn’t endorse a candidate. Still, others believe he has the right to make a choice since he’s also eligible to vote despite being a monarch.
