Award-winning Afrobeat singer, Davido has expressed joy at the records his new album keeps breaking.

Taking to his Instagram page, the father of three spoke out following his incredible performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in New York.

Davido had marked his first TV performance since his return on The Late Show as he sang two hit songs from Timeless album, “Feel” & “Unavailable” on the show.

He expressed his gratitude for the massive support he received for his album, Timeless.

Urging his fans to keep streaming, he beamed with joy over the records his album keeps breaking.

Davido jumps into the crowd as he marks his first performance in New York City

Kemi Filani reported that Davido who made his comeback into the music industry after losing his son had made his first performance since his return.

Days back, Davido had announced that he would be hosting a special live event in London, New York, and Lagos.

“London, New York City, Lagos join me for ‘A Timeless Night’, a special live event, where we’ll make members that will last forever”.

The singer finally returned on stage as he made his first performance at his show in NYC on Sunday night, April 2nd.

While performing at his show, Davido jumped into the crowd. The singer was performing, UNAVAILABLE, when he jumped into the waiting hands of his fans.

Busta Rhymes as he meets Davido

American rapper, Busta Rhymes who were in attendance couldn’t hold back his tears as he met Davido at his concert in New York.

The singer was among the celebrities who showed support for Davido on stage.

In a viral clip on social media, Busta Rhymes was seen tearing up as he linked up with Davido.

The singer could be heard comforting and consoling the grieving singer.

He could be heard telling Davido, “You are strong, you are strong. How do you feel? You feel good?”.
