President Buhari has finally agreed to address Nigerian after several appeals. The President will on 7 Pm make a National Broadcast about Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
President Buhari has refused to address Nigerians despite the pressure from nook and cranny of the country to make President Buhari change his mind and make the much-awaited National broadcast. The coronavirus pandemic has continued to increase in Nigeria despite the partial lockdown of the most affected part of Nigeria.
My State News came across what will be termed as a piece of good news when the Special Adviser of the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina announced that Buhari will address Nigeria by 7 pm today.
According to the statement, the live television broadcast is scheduled for 7 pm.
Adesina said: “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020, at 7 pm.
“Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
