President Muhammadu Buhari has once again voiced out on the issue of the defection of some members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to The Nation, Buharu said a chain of weakest politicians have left the party. It was gathered that Buhari said this on Tuesday, September 11, while receiving the presidential nomination form gotten for him by the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassador Network (NCAN).
According to him, the poloticians who left the party could not consider national interest above their selfish interest in line with the objectives of the administration.
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, September 11, received the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential expression of interest and nomination forms in a short ceremony that took place at the State House, Abuja.
It was also reported that the nomination forms were presented to him by the Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), one of the president’s support groups. The Buhari 2019 Door to Door Ambassadors according to reports, revealed that it is planning to raise a whopping N1 billion for the campaign and successful re-election of the president of Nigeria ahead of the forthcoming exercise which will take place in 2019.
