‘The public figure lifestyle is damn expensive’ BBNaija’s Doyin laments

Big Brother Naija reality TV star Doyin David recently took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the challenges of being a public figure.

In a tweet, she stated that the public figure lifestyle is “damn expensive” and advised aspiring influencers to have a solid support system and financial resources before venturing into the space.

According to Doyin, being a public figure requires a significant amount of money to maintain a certain lifestyle and image. From personal grooming to fashion, travel, and other expenses, the cost of living as a public figure can quickly add up.

Doyin’s tweet serves as a warning to aspiring influencers who may be unaware of the financial demands of the industry.

The reality TV star also emphasised the importance of having a solid support system. Being in the public eye can be mentally and emotionally taxing, and having a network of supportive friends and family members can make all the difference.

She wrote: ‘I’ll tell you this much….the public figure lifestyle is damn expensive! Long story short….do not get into this space if you don’t have money or a solid support system. You need money to make money’.

During a podcast session with Nedu and others, Whitemoney claimed some ex female housemates of BBNaija do beg him to introduce his brand and business partners.

Whitemoney made this statement when he claimed that ladies don’t fancy a broke man and many could not endure with a broke man until he becomes rich.

He cited a former housemate of BBNaija season 7, Doyin, who queried him for his statement. He asked if the reality star could date a broke man.
