Ruben Dias is set to join Manchester City in a swap deal, according to the report from Porto Canal.
The 23-year-old has been linked with the move to Etihad, with the club boss Pep Guardiola eager to improve the squad by bringing new defensive options.
And amid the reported interest in Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Sevilla’s Jules Koundé, City are close to signing Dias. The report claims the swap deal will involve Nicolas Otamendi from City.

Manchester City are now in talks with Benfica to sign Rubén Dias including Otamendi offered as part of the deal [total value around €55m]. Same bid made to Sevilla for Koundé [and refused 5 days ago] who’s the other main target as CB after Koulibaly deal stalling. 🔵 #MCFC
