Timo Werner

Timo Werner is expected to start when the Blues host Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, despite concern he had picked up an injury.

The 23-year-old left-back has not featured since sustaining the injury at the start of July in a Premier League game against Crystal Palace.

But after doing some individual work at Cobham’s training base, he is now nearing full fitness and is likely to be involve in weekend game.

Hakim Ziyech

Hakim Ziyech has been doubt for Liverpool clash due to a knee injury he picked up in the pre-season game with Brighton.

The 27-year-old technically gifted winger subsequently missed the league opener against the Seagulls.

And is expected to be back into action in the coming weeks.

Christian Pulisic

Christian Pulisic is likely to again miss out on first-team involvement against Liverpool this weekend.
