Offa Robbery ringleader who accused Saraki is murdered in the custody

The dreaded Offa robbery ringleader, Michael Adikwu, who indicted Senator Bukola Saraki and Kwara State Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed is dead.

Mr Kamaldeen Ajibade (SAN). the Kwara State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice made this known when he brought the remaining five suspect to court on Wednesday for arraignment.

The other suspects who were brought to court were Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye, Adeola Abraham, Salaudeen Azeez and Niyi Ogundiran.

According to Punch news, Michael Adikwu who confessed to having masterminded the bloody operation was not in court during the arraignment.

The head of the police investigation team, Mr Abba Kyari, told the court that Michael Adikwu is dead. However, the attorney general also said the case could not go on because the suspects had no legal representation.

Recall that Michael Adidkwu named the Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Governor of Kwara State Abdulfatai Ahmed as the sponsors of the robbery that led to the death of 30 people.

Now the controversy surrounding to the dead of Adikwu continues to be the centre of debate as Saraki has caused for proper investigation about his death.
