Obasanjo Speaks Of Giving Every Nigerian N5,000 COVID-19 Relief Fund

Former Nigeria president Olusegun Obasanjo Thursday 16/04/2020 evening denied the reports he had already sent N5, 000 to all Nigerians through their BVN due to the hardship in country as a result of the outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic.

Channels Tv Tuesday afternoon reported that Obasanjo was allergy quoted to have said; “I woke up this morning and decided to go walking around, I started shedding tears when I saw how hungry people are, I asked my manager to have N5, 000 credited to account of Nigeria”

But the former Nigeria president through his media aide Kehinde Akinyemi said he did not make sure promise, and cautioned Nigerians to beware of fraudsters that want to capitalize on such fake news to dupe innocent Nigerians.

We recalled that the former Nigeria President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo had early this month donated one of mansions in O gun state to the FG as isolation center.
