Obasanjo forms coalition of Nigeria Movement to defeat APC and PDP in 2019

Obasanjo forms coalition of Nigeria Movement. The former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo has successfully formed and registered a coalition of Nigeria movement in Abeokuta Ogun State. The coalition is to see the end of dominant of All Progressive Congress and People Democratic party in Nigeria politics. Some former Nigeria Governors aligned with Obasanjo and gathered to see the coalition registered and mobilised people enmass in order to unseat the Government of APC comes 2019.

Some key members of the coalition are former governors of Cross River and Osun States, Donald Duke and Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola. The mandate of coalition of Nigeria Movement is to mobilise people against the system of leadership of Buhari led government in Nigeria. They also make sure the poeple democratic Party don’t return to power in 2019.

One of the key member of the coalition Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola said that the coalition will be registered as political party in coming weeks. Oyinlola said for it to make electoral impact in the manner described by the former President, they would need to follow the constitution and register it as a political party.

Recall that Obasanjo had written a lengthy letter to President Buhari complaining about the style of leadership of president Buhari. He also suggested that Buhari should give way in 2019.
