Northern Youths insist Igbo must quit after El Rufai intervention. The Northern youths that earlier gave Igbos quit notice have insisted that Igbo must leave the North despite the condemnation from the governor of Kaduna State El-Rufai.

The directive was released during the meeting that was convened in response to Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s condemnation of their attempt to kick out Nigerians of Igbo origin residing in the Northern states.

Abdulaziz Suleiman, a coordinator of the group, told newsmen that El-Rufai’s move to block his group from forcing a mass exodus of Igbos from northern states was “disappointing.”

You will recall that Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has ordered the arrest of people behind the three-month quit notice given to Igbos to leave the North.
