Nigerians attack Buhari for denying approving N30,000 as Minimum wage

The issue of Nigeria new minimum wage is yet to die down as Federal Government has denied approving N30,000 as minimum wage.

Nigerians are not happy that the Government will deny approving N30,000 after the news went viral that Buhari had approved the report of the tripartite committee set up by the same Federal Government which recommended N30,000.

Punch reports that the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who spoke with State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council, said President Muhammadu Buhari would still study the report presented to him on Tuesday by the Chairman of the committee, Amal Pepple, before taking a decision on it.

The candidate of the People democratic party PDP Atiku Abubaker attacks Buhari and his vice saying that Denial characteristic of the Buhari administration.

He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari and his deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) are feeding at public expense”
