Nigeria vs Cape Verde line-up, TV Channel, Kick off time and live streaming

The super Eagles of Nigeria will today host Cape Verde in the last group stage of the World Cup qualifying preliminary stage. Nigeria vs Cape Verde is highly rated group C fixture.

The super Eagles seat not too comfortable at the top of the group C closely followed by Cape Verde. The Eagles need a point from today match to consolidate on the top of the spot. A win for Cape Verde will also see the top the group C table.  Gernot Robr, the super Eagles coach has to approach today’s match in all levels of commitment to lead the super eagle to the World Cup in Qatar.

The super Eagles should not allowed what happened against the Central African Republic to happen in today’s match a loss could be dangerous for the Eagles World Cup campaign. We also expect the Super Eagles coach to stick to the team line- up that he played against Liberia but it could be forced to make some changes in the attacking line.  The likes of Ahmed Musa who came from the bench against Liberia Could replaced Iheanacho in the attacking line.

Nigeria vs Cape Verde, the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match the second leg will be played on Tuesday 16th November 2021. The match will kick off at exactly 5 pm Nigerian time at Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos.

Nigeria vs Cape Verde line-up

Both Nigeria and Cape Verde are yet to decide on their starting line. Cape Verde and the Super Eagles have lined up their best squad for the match.

First half goal from Super Eagles Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen and second half goal from Karagumruk winger, Ahmed Musa, was all the Coach Rohr tutored side needed to cruise pass it’s opponents away from home.

The quest for a place in the Qatar 2022 World Cup continues for the Nigeria Super Eagles on Tuesday as they host Cape Verde at the Telsim Balogun Stadium,Lagos Nigeria.

This fixture will be a tough one for both sides given how they have performed recently.

However, playing at home means Nigeria will have massive support in this game in its quest for a place in the Next World Cup.

The hosts defeated Cape Verde 2-1 in the reverse fixture away from home.

Cape Verde will be prepared to give everything on Tuesday. However, it may not be enough against a strong Nigeria team, who we expect to prevail relatively comfortably over the 90 minutes.

Following the standings after Matchday Five (5) the Nigeria Super Eagles will file out against, Cape Verde, knowing that a draw will be enough to secure their progress through to the next round of World Cup qualifying series.

With the players fielded in Morroco against, Liberia and the number of Substitutes effected in the game by the Super Eagles gaffer, a big change in the starting line up against, Cape Verde looks certain.

If still sticks with the 3-5-2 formation which yielded a win and a clean sheet, Watford new goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, is mostly like to keep his place in the team.

If all the backline stays fit, the backline trio of Chidozie Awaziem, Leon Balogun and Troost-Ekong will retain their place in the team.

A major change is mostly likely to happen in the five (5) man midfield set up with Ndidi Wilfred ranking as the only player assured of his place as Samuel Chukwueze is mostly likely to get the nod ahead of Moses Simon and Zaidu Sanusi ahead of Jamilu Collins.

Leicester City striker who paired Napoli talisman, Victor Osimhen, in the front line on Saturday in Tangiers might be returned back to the bench and making way for the attacking partnership of Victor Osimhen and Jude Ighalo.

For the Visitors, Bubista will take a similar approach to his opposite number, potentially making just the one change to his Cape Verde side.

Willy Semedo could get the nod over Dylan Tavares after replacing him at half time versus Central African Republic on Saturday.

Super Eagles possible starting XI

Okoye; Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Sanusi, Awaziem, Ndidi, Aribo, Iwobi, Chukwueze, Ighalo, Osimhen
