MC Oluomo, Olaiya Igwe, others storm the 21years remembrance of Mide Martins’ mother (Video)

Nollywood actress, Mide Martins has marked the 21-year remembrance of her late mother, Funmilayo Martins.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mide Martins shared a video of the prayer she held for her mother which had in attendance her colleagues and important personalities.

Spotted at the event were her husband, Afeez Owo, Lagos State Parks Chairman MC Oluomo, Adebayo Tijani, Ijebu, and others.

Paying tribute to her late mother, Mide Martins prayed for her beautiful soul to keep resting in peace.

She affirmed that her mother would forever remain alive in her heart.

“Rest on my mama!! 21 years remembrance of late Funmi Martins. May your beautiful soul continue to be in peace. You will forever remain alive in our hearts. Oluwafunmilayo Florence Anike Martins. Love you till eternity, my mother”.

I can not kill myself – Mide Martins speaks on abandoning mother’s grave for 20 years

Last year, Mide Martins finally replied critics who queried her for abandoning her late Mother, Funmi Martins’ grave for the past 20 years.

A popular blog (gistlover) called her out for abandoning her younger brother and many were disappointed, but the issue was sorted and she did a video seeking for custody of her brother, so she can take care of him.

Just when we thought everything had been resolved, a veteran U.S.-based actress, Ashabi Olorisha called her out.

This time, not just for abandoning her younger brother, but also for her late mum’s graveyard and the entire family.

Defending herself in an interview with City People, Mide Martins had this to say:

“I honestly can’t kill myself, I know what I am doing and I don’t need to start explaining what I have done to people. This same boy they claimed I abandoned, I know what I have done for him. Read more here.

After 19 years, Mide Martins, alongside family members, visit her late mother’s grave for the first time

A year back, Mide Martins alongside some family members paid a visit to her late mother’s grave for the first time 19 years after her death.

This was disclosed by controversial Instagram blogger Gistlovers in a video shared online. According to the blogger, Mide Martins and her family visited her later mother’s burial ground after being dragged and called out on social media.

The blogger wrote: So if no be say we drag aunty Mide them no go remember mama burial ground or do remembrance, Yeyebrities everywhere o I come in peace”.
