An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Friday ordered that a 47-year-old man, Abdulrahman Malik, who allegedly defiled his 17-year-old daughter be remanded in the custodial centre.

The police charged Malik with defilement.

The magistrate ordered the police to file the matter in the Ikeja Sexual and Domestic Violence Court, Ikeja.

Oghre adjourned the matter until Nov. 18, for mention.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp. Kehinde Olatunde told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Sept. 28, at Olodu Area, Ikorodu.
