Liberians jubilate as George Weah elected president. There was jubilations in major cities of Liberia when the news of George Weah victory hit the ground. Liberians trooped to the street chanting the name ‘George Weah’. People are seen dancing and singing in major cities of the country. George was close to tear when he received the officially that he has won the presidential election.
Few days ago we announced unofficially that George Weah has won the presidential runoff election. The official declaration does not come to us as a surprise.

Meanwhile George Weah opposition in a runoff presidential election Joseph Boakai has conceded a defeat. He also called to congratulation George Weah the president elect. He was given speech, this is what he has to say;
“I respect the will of the people as announced by the National Electoral Commission,” Boakai said, adding that he had called Weah to congratulate him.
“I reject any temptation of imposing pain, hardship, agony and uncertainty,” he said. “My name will not be used as (an) excuse for one drop of human blood to be spilt in this country.”
