Good news as Lagos joint task force clears Apapa gridlock

Lagos State joint task force has finally cleared the Apapa gridlock. The several trucks that parked and block the Oshodi/Apapa expressway has been moved by the Joint Task Force set up the governor of Lagos State Ambode.

The Lagos State Governor Akinwumi Ambody through his intervention has set up a joint task force and charged them to clear Apapa gridlock within 42 hours. The task force quickly swung into action and the result is what we are seeing today. The Apapa gridlock has been cleared and the commuters can now go about their normal businesses.

The Joint Task Force which comprises of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and Nigerian Military including Army, Air Force and the Navy tagged their operation as ‘Operation Restore Sanity On Lagos Roads,’

Operation Restore Sanity on Lagos Road was successfully implemented and within the given time range the Apapa gridlock was cleared.
