Jaiye Kuti pays tribute to late friend, Henrietta Kosoko as she teases new project (Video)

Nollywood actress, Jayeola Monje otherwise known as Jaiye Kuti has paid tribute to her late friend and wife of Jide Kosoko, Henrietta Kosoko.

While teasing her latest project, Jayeola Monje shared a video of an old film that starred the late actress and Jaiye Kuti.

Paying tribute to her, she prayed for her to continue resting in peace.

Jaiye Kuti announced that season 2 of the movie, ‘Jaiyeola Monje’ which made many believe she married Fuji singer, Pasuma is underwork.

“Please listen to the song and say Amen. Continue to rest in peace. My darling friend Mrs. Henrietta Kosoko. Watch out for Season 2 of the movie very soon @epsalumproductions is relocating it”.

Kemi Filani recalls that Henrietta Kosoko died on the 7th of June, 2016 from complications that arose from diabetes.

Jide Kosoko remembers late wife, Henrietta Kosoko after six years

Last year, her husband, Jide Kosoko penned a tribute to her.

Sharing a video collage of some of her last moments, Jide Kosoko on Instagram wrote

” Continue to rest my Love, omo odudukudu, Henrietta. We celebrate you now and always, the vacuum remains uncovered, Gbogbo e ye Olorun, your children are doing great. Keep resting dear Henrietta Emumejiakpo, Olorun lo mo ohun gbogbo, ohun na lo nse ohun gbogbo. All glory belongs to Almighty God its 6 years now, Rest on, we are coping in Christ.”

Jaiye Kuti finally speaks on her relationship with singer Pasuma

Just days back, Jaiye Kuti finally addressed her relationship with famous fuji singer, Wasiu Alabi, otherwise known as Pasuma.

While speaking with BBC Yoruba, Jaiye Kuti made her fans understand that she did not share a relationship with Pasuma because she is happily married with kids.

The beautiful actress disclose that rumors about her relationship with Pasuma started when she featured the music icon in one of her movies titled “Jaiyeola Monje”. She got married to the singer and the photos from the movie became viral.

According to Jaiye Kuti, her wedding with Pasuma in the movie prompted many to watch the film to see what went down before them. She further disclosed that the movie was derived from a lullaby that her grandmother sings when she was a young girl.

Jaiye Kuti said there is nothing between her and Pasuma as what existed between them is mutual friendship and the photos were taken from the internet.
