There was confusion last night across Oyo State over the death rumour of Mr Ajimobi. The social media was wide when some online media claimed that Ajimobi died in Lagos at about 8 pm.
In fact on Twitter, The name Ajimobi make it to the top of the trends. And those who received the news and closed to the former Governor, they began to send condolences messages to the family of Mr Ajimobi.
Gripped with anxiety, APC members and other stakeholders in the state made telephone calls on the development.

We, however, continue to pray for him. Thank you all for the show of concern.”
“I spoke to one of his daughters about 15 minutes ago and she told me he is fine. So, discard the speculation.”
But reminded that he never confirmed reports that Ajimobi was indisposed until the current leadership crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC) came up, Tunji said: “I can only tell you now that he is alive and nothing is true in what is being speculated.”
