Headies 2019: Nominees and full winners list

Headies 2019 is here and it is the 13th edition of the Headies which has been themed; “Power of A Dream”  held ay Eto Hotel And Suites host by Reminisce and Nancy Isime on the 19th of October, 2019.

The winners are started emerging and they ate smiling home with various awards. We have the full winners here which will be updated time to time until all the winners are emerged.

It is important to note that only music that includes audio and videos released between January 2018 – June 2019 are qualified for nomination in the 2019 edition of The Headies

What is The Headies?

The Headies which was formerly called the Hip Hop World Awards debuted in 2006. Since then, it has become one of Nigeria’s most anticipated annual entertainment event.

How do Artists emerge as winners?

Winners are arrived at either through voting by the public for categories opened to voting. Or through critical and in-depth analysis by the members of the Headies Jury.

It may interest you to know that the current image of the Headies was conceptualized by Ayo Animashaun and drawn by Matthias Aragbada. The Headies plaque is a mixture of resin, copper, steel, marble and gold.

The organisers have revealed there are 23 unique categories of awards that would be reviewing the musical efforts of African artistes between January 2018 & June 2019.
