@postsuman: – Lockdown: Governor Wike of Rivers State supervises the demolition of Protest Hotel in Eleme for violating lockdown rules, to be on his way to demolish another one in Onne.

@Ediong: Democracy in action in Rivers as Supreme Emperor Nyesom Wike arbitrarily ‘demolishes building’ because of coronavirus.

@drpenking: Protest Hotel, Eleme demolished by Wike for disobeying LockDown rules.

Is this not too extreme? What happened to arrest and Fining the workers?
Even Military Government wasn’t this harsh.

@instablog:  Covidiots: The moment Gov. Wike nabbed a man who loaded his vehicle with mobile policemen just to flout the lockdown order

@adejanjudeji: The demolition of the hotel was unnecessary. Temporary closure would have been enough. Wike is overdoing it. Those their property was demolished should seek legal redress.
