Google Celebrates Doctors, Nurses & Medical Workers With Doodle

The search engine giant Google has extended a handle of appreciation to the team of medical doctors, nurses and medical workers around the world with a special Google Doodle. The Doodle simply says thank you, coronavirus helpers.

Google felt the contribution of all the medical teams all over the world including Nigerian Doctors, Nurses and other medical workers for their sacrifice in curbing the dreaded COVID 19 coronavirus. The animated Doodle show as the front page of Google in such a way that those who open the browser will be welcomed by the “thank you’ message from Google.

Google wrote, “As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, people are coming together to help one another now more than ever. We’re launching a Doodle series to recognize and honour many of those on the front lines.”

Google is also encouraging health workers to do their best even at a time when the virus has spread to every part of the world. The Coronavirus statistics show that a total of 1,981,239 people have contacted the COVID-19, a total of 126,681 people have died from the virus while the world recorded a total of 486,622 people have successfully treated and recovered.

In Nigeria, a total of 373 people have been infected by COVID-19, 99 discharged and 11 deaths were recorded.
