Fulani Herdsmen strike again in Benue kill 24 people. Fulani Herdsmen had attacked the Benue community in Omusu Edimoga in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State. This time about 24 people mostly women and children have lost their lives. The herbsmen accused the stated community of killing their cows that was what led to the killing of 24 innocent souls in the Omusu Edimoga.

Punch news report that the herdsmen had reported to the council the loss of their cows some kilometers from the affected village. According to chairman of the council, Ogwuche, the council have already mediating in the crisis when report got to him that the herdsmen had invaded the village and killed some people.

The herdsmen invaded the community arround 2pm and pm killed the children returning from school. The herdsmen have said to attack and kill about eight people in one particular building.

The body of an 11-year-old girl in her school uniform was discovered by the police when  the governor visited the area.

Ogwuche said, “It was on Monday that Police came to inform me that herdsmen reported that people of Omusu Edimoga village had rustled their cows. Check the details here
