FG forms committee on herdsmen killings. Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is chairing a committee comprising of 9 State governors saddled with the obligation of finishing the herdsmen’s killings being witnessed in many part of the Nigeria.
This becomes one of the decisions reached at a meeting of the National Economic Council held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday
The Kano state Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, disclosed this to nation residence correspondents at the stop of the meeting presided over Osinbajo.
Ganduje named individuals of the committee to encompass governors of Kaduna, Zamfara, Taraba, Benue, Adamawa, Edo, Plateau, Oyo, and Ebonyi states.
The governor stated the committee might collaborate with the Federal authorities in addressing impunity concerning killings and violence.
