EFCC sets to arrest Fayose over N1.3bn poultry project as confirmed by their Twitter handle. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has hinted that the Governor of Ekiti State will be arrested immediately after his tenure expire and the immunity ends. Fayose will be arrested over the alleged N1.3bn poultry project during his first term from 2003 to 2006.
The commission also mocked the Governor after the failure of his preferred candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, to win just concluded Ekiti Governorship election.

The EFCC said in a tweet that with Fayose’s tenure ending in less than three months coupled with the loss of his immunity, he should begin to prepare to visit the commission.

Obanikoro will be served as the prosecution witness and will be expected to give evidence against the governor when his tenure ends.
The tenure of the Governor will expire on October 16, 2018 and EFCC has promised to quickly arrest the Governor immediate.
