The anti-graft agency on Wednesday, September 12, posted the pictures and names of the wanted Rivers state officials on its Facebook page.
The wanted officials of Rivers state are:
1. Fubara Siminayi (director of finance for Rivers state government)
2. Harrisonba Bessi Princewill
3. Lekia V. Bukpor
4. Dagogo Roderick Abere.
Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state had vowed that no official of the state will appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for probe.
The governor said this after the EFCC made enquiries about the state’s alleged N117 billion transactions in the past three years. The governor reportedly had accused the anti graft agency of politically-motivated investigation and that until the 2007 judgement barring the anti-graft agency from investigating the state, no official would appear for probe.
