Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 3-3 draw at West Bromwich Albion last weekend as they trip to Tottenham for their Carabao Cup fourth round tie.
The Blues have endured a mixed start to the Premier League season, following up their opening weekend win over Brighton with a home defeat to champions Liverpool and snatching a point in a dramatic encounter with West Brom.
Next up is a short trip across London to face local rivals Tottenham for place in the next round of the Carabao Cup.
Frank Lampard’s side tasted success on their last visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in December, winning 2-0 in a bad tempered affair which saw Son Heung-min sent off.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Blues head coach Frank Lampard confirmed that new signings Edouard Mendy and Ben Chilwell would be included in the squad.
‘Mendy and Chilwell are in the squad tomorrow,’ Lampard told reporters on Monday.
‘They are fit and we will see if they start or not. Ziyech and Pulisic are not far away but they are still in a recovery phase. Too early for them both.’
