Buhari in technical stopover in London sparks reactions. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu statement that Buhari in ‘technical stopover’ in London has generated a lot of reactions from Nigeria.
President Buhari travelled to US where he met with the President Trump. Buhari is expected to be back to Nigeria today. He has left United State and stopover in London. But the presidency his attributed his stopover in the British capital to what it called “technical stopover.”

Some Nigerians have however questioned the use of ‘technical stopover’ rather than giving us the reason why he has to stopover in London. Some people who commented said Buhari stopover for medical check up but instead of coming out plain Mr Garba Shehu technical stopover to confuse us.
One comment that also caught our attention, the guy said ‘president with the word technical, they told us that Boko Haram has been technically defeated now Buhari is technical stopover, when they want to hide some they use the word technical.
The People Democratic Party has also reacted to the word Buhari in technical stopover in London. The national publicity secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbodinyan said that the Presidency has to end their official secrecy and come clear on the reasons for President Muhammadu Buhari’s alleged ‘technical stopover’ in London.
The PDP noted that President Buhari left the United States 48 hours ago and embarked on an unofficial visit to the United Kingdom for undisclosed reasons without transmitting a letter to the National Assembly, stressing that it amounts to impunity and another constitutional breach
Meanwhile Buhari’s special assistance on other media Mr Bashir Ahmad has revealed that the president has left the Washington DC.
