Breaking: President Buhari Resigns, Hands Over Power To Osinbajo

President Buhari, a Nigerian President has resigned and handed over power to the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

President Muhammadu Buhari in his resignation letter sent to the joint session of the National Assembly. The President wrote in 2 pages letter made available to both the Senate and the House of Representatives that after duly consultation with my wife and some key members of my family and of course some of my key members of the cabinet, I hereby tender my resignation as the President of Nigeria and I have handed over the baton of leadership to my vice, Yemi Osinbajo according to the provision of Nigerian Constitution.

I have considered the move as the only option, in order to take care of my failing health and over the worse security challenges in many parts of the country especially in the Northeast region of the country.

You will recall that the People Democratic Party PDP has called for the resignation of Mr President. Nigerians also have taken to the social media platform to call for President Buhari’s resignation.

By this good move by Mr President, President Buhari has entered the Guinness Book of record as the first African President to voluntarily resign from office.

Before I could type the last paragraph, I woke up from my sleep. After all, it all happened in my imagination. President Buhari is still the President of Nigeria and Yemi Osinbajo still Nigeria Vice President.

So those who are calling for  President resignation are doing so to get noticed. No Africa President will ever resign even the country collapsed. African President can only die in office.
