Breaking: Harvey Weinstein sentenced to 23 years in prison

Harvey Weinstein has sentenced to 23 years in prison Wednesday in a New York courtroom, the culmination of a case that fueled the global #MeToo movement that encouraged women to speak out against sexual abuse.

Speaking about the sentence a CNN correspondent, said he was convicted of which is a serious sexual felony the range 5 to 25 and the judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison so that’s always maximum and this is with someone that has no criminal history.

He was convicted of rape in the third and he is probation to 4 years and the judge sentenced him to three years and the terms are to run consecutively one after the other so that is 23 years in prison.

The Georgia mountains Harvey Weinstein really had a blank stare on his face but on the other side of the room all six women who testified against him in this trial receded and the prosecution side on the front row they all started crying to each other and Annabella Sciorra a very successful Actress was seated next to Gloria Allred and she began to sub and Gloria Allred hug her so you see the emotions that permit at that point road and right before the sentence was announced

Harvey Weinstein was given the opportunity to speak to the judge and he did speak to the other thing I don’t think anyone believed he was going to say what he said he said that he is very remorseful that he will spend his time in prison to become a good person

He will reflect on that his life has been hell on earth since all of this happened, that his five children have not contacted him since the New York Times article came out.  He doesn’t know where they are or what they’re doing, this is been hell on earth for me he said that he believed the relationships he had with these women and their relationships they were consensual. he also said that because of the emails that came in as evidence back and forth and wonderful things in the women said to him that made him feel that everything was fine in their relationship as they kept going on this emotional by to the accuser’s name.

Haley said that in the last 2 years lock-in paranoia she thought that they would be someone doing because she was going to be in accuser in this trial she said she’s grateful for the convictions she now feels safe and she also believes that women in this country and internationally will also be safe because Harvey Weinstein is Behind Bars.
