Chelsea won the first leg 4-2 at home, Lampard scoring twice with Drogba also on target. Lampard and Drogba struck again in the second leg as Bayern won 3-2 on the night but went out on aggregate.
Prior to this season, our most recent meeting was in the Super Cup in 2013 when Bayern, with Pep Guardiola in charge, won on penalties after extra-time.
