K-pop superstars BTS have announced a new album. It’s called Map of the Soul: 7 and it arrives February 21 via Big Hit Entertainment.
It marks the first new proper full-length from the boy band since the release of Map of the Soul : Persona in 2019. The band made the new album announcement via Twitter, linking fans to their Weverse community mobile app.
Map of the Soul : Persona featured American singer-songwriter Halsey on the lead single, “Boy With Luv,” as well as a co-write with Ed Sheeran (“Make It Right”). In the time since that album, BTS have also released BTS World: Original Soundtrack, a companion album for their mobile game of the same name. They recently performed in New York City during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve event in Times Square.
